This Weekend in MC Park, in Sunday School and Elementary Worship, your child will learn the story of the plaques.

God Sends Plagues on Egypt

You can review the story in Exodus 7:8 – 10:29. A great memory verse for your family this week is Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Questions for review with your child:

1.    When you think of power, what, or who, comes to your mind?

2.    How do they demonstrate power?

3.    Have you seen God’s power in your own life?

4.    Why would God use his power to produce painful plagues?

5.    What can you learn about God through this story?

6.    Read Isaiah 41:10, why is it important to know this promise from God?

7.    How did you handle a fearful or overwhelming situation in your lifetime?

8.    Did you allow God to give you His peace, assurance, and strength?

9.    How can you see God’s power in your life, your family and in the world?
